Director of Special Events
Designing and running events has long been Kerri’s passion. She joined Sara Pandolfi & Co as Director of Special Events in the spring of 2014. Working closely with Sara, the company’s President, Kerri helped produce the 2015 From Farm to Tray benefit for Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen, New York State’s largest emergency food program. Through her leadership, Kerri achieved 120% of the event’s fundraising goal, making this the most successful and visible fundraiser in the organization’s 30-year history. Kerri helped retain and manage a cadre of sponsors, resulting in 19 new and distinct corporate and community partnerships to support the soup kitchen through cash, in-kind and volunteer efforts.
Kerri introduced the event’s first digital silent auction, which led to a 35% increase in silent auction revenue from the prior year’s event. She managed seamless communication and coordination among high-speed Internet providers and their digital technology partner. Kerri also spearheaded an aggressive social media campaign which was so successful that for the first time, the From Farm to Tray benefit was “sold-out.”
Kerri was first introduced to the event space in 1999 working at Reed Exhibition. There she assisted in the administration of VIP Buyer programs, coordinated event logistics, monitored event expenses and prepared media kits. She also scheduled and coordinated on-site press conferences.
In 2002, Kerri joined StratMar, a national event marketing company. There she incorporated her expertise in marketing and sales resulting in her securing higher positions at StratMar. Ultimately leading a multidisciplinary team, designing and conducting in–store events. Given her ability and highly organized approach to the business, Kerri quickly moved up through the company, always exceeding client expectations and surpassing internal ROI projections.
Through her leadership, Kerri’s team excelled at coordinating numerous events simultaneously. As a result, the team received much praise for their exemplary efforts. Her team consistently accomplished its mission – to drive consumer traffic, encourage trial and generate impulse purchases of featured brands. Working closely with StratMar’s clients and marketing agencies, Kerri mastered the delivery of innovative, customized marketing solutions with measurable results.
Kerri has a B.B.A. in Marketing from Western Connecticut State University and a Professional Certificate in Meeting and Conference Management from New York University.
